Totally spent

Wow. Who knew riding a rigid singlespeed could be so hard?

After a few months off, followed by a couple of weeks on riding my geared, suspended, small-wheeled hardtail, getting on the SS was positively novel.

I had forgotten what riding without suspension was like!

And without gears...and with humorously large wheels. It wasn't so much that the lack of gears hurt me. Ok, the lack of gears did hurt me a bit. I am not going to lie about that.

It was just hysterical riding such a fun, hilariously heavy and bone-rattling bike again.

It's good for you. And like Coot-tha repeats, also kinda nutty.

Anyway, time for sleep now...
