I have been in the process of getting unfit.
Well, that's not technically what I am doing, but after my race season has finished for the year, I have been doing swimming (?), a bit of running and lots of mountain biking.
My road bike is getting cobwebs on it! Not neccesarily a bad thing at this time of year.
I want to do some dirt jumps, too. I have attempted at the newbie track—and though I can get some air and land okay, my distance really needs a fair bit of work. I think it's a fair chunk of confidence that's required, but I would really love to go jumping with someone who really knows what they're doing and could give me some (much needed) advice!
I am going to need to start doing some miles soon—Rotorua is fast approaching and I can't wait to hit that perfect 'Hero' dirt. Though I use that term loosely—I reckon Bunya trails have a fair bit of 'Hero' gravel, because it's pretty good in the dry, and even better in the wet!
Awesome Rotorua goodness...
Also, tomorrow is the first day of uni (Version 2.0). Pretty exciting!
Will Give you updates no doubt (in blind panic and stress when exams are drawing nearer...)
