I have been a bit quiet on this front—a lot and not very much at all has been happening simultaneously.
I feel like I am on uni holidays—and I am not even a uni student—yet...
I am getting excited (and nervous) about uni, though my degree will likely have a lot of mature aged students (while I am a mature age student, that does not mean I am mature at this age..) there will also most likely be a lot of 17 year olds and quite frankly many of them are in the 'too hard' basket.
And not really being scientifically minded (yep, arts and music and drama were the forte's) I am a bit worried about having to learn that kind of stuff, because I always found it super challenging at school.
Back in the day.
When I was a lass.
And the super commuter has been resurrected for the cause of hauling me and a bucketload of books the whole, loong 5km schlepp up my street (yes, it's ever so convenient) to universitah.
The holy purple people eater, bought for $100 and a cheap helmet off a customer at the shop I used to work at—awesome.
Anyway, bike-wise I had a shitter of a race at Shepparton—who the fuck puts a race on there anyway? It wasn't even in Shepparton!
It left me really unsatisfied, so despite saying I was calling my national series campaign quits with that race, I have found myself entered into the Thredbo round, happening just before the commencement of term.
The goal is to have a cracker of a race and then hang it up for a month. Well...not hang it up as such, but finish building up my new frame, have some focussed coaching sessions with my peeps and not worry too much about getting up at 4.30m to get three or so hours in before work.
