As I'm preparing for the end of college and getting ready to move to Cambridge to begin studying at Harvard at the end of the summer, I think it's time to rethink my wardrobe a bit. I found these scans from the August 2006 Vogue Paris to be the perfect answer to what I want my style to evolve into next.
I love the idea of wearing things that are streamlined, but still have pretty and interesting and not at all minimalistic. I also like the natural, carefree hair and make up in this editorial as well.
Monochromatic neutrals is something I haven't tried yet, but I think it can look very elegant when it's properly accessorized.
I love the idea of making a simple outfit spectacular by combining lots of jewelry and textures. Here, I love the mixture of the feminine necklaces and Cartier bangles with the more masculine watch and thicker bangles. Of course, Chanel costume jewelry would make me happy no matter what!
Cropped jackets always remind me of Jackie O - timeless, chic, and unexpected all in one easy to wear piece.
