Last week I went to Tyjo's and picked up too much fabric with my aunt. I wanted a prop for kids photos which would also double as a lap quilt for the living room. I found these great retro fabrics and had to have them all. And I found an easy quilt pattern.
And this afternoon, from about noon to 2:30, I ironed, cut, and sewed my quilt top. I will wait for my mom and aunt to get back from Ontario so that one or both can help me do the batting and backing.
I'm very excited to get it totally finished, it will be my first finished quilt.
