Nothing says fall quite like these gorgeous new shades of Chanel nail lacquer. I can't wait to try out Strong and Steel myself, I missed out on their release online and hope I can still snag the pair. {Edited on 9/4: These shades are now available at Chanel.com and by using the code 0810SHIP before midnight on Monday, September 6th you can get free shipping.}

I've also been able to finally run by the COOP and pick up the September issues of some of my favorite magazines. I decided not to get Vogue's September issue for a multitude of reasons which are best summed up by this post on Privilege and chose to invest my work-study funds in other publications. I appreciate that Real Simple gives practical advice but doesn't sacrifice aesthetics to do so and that boho supports sustainable products without being preachy. W was the first "grown-up" magazine I purchased at age thirteen when I thought I wanted to be a designer and I'm still inspired by the magazine today. In a time where it seems print media is dying, I'm glad to know some editors and writers continue to create publications that still have some vibrancy and personality in them. These magazines will serve as a much needed break during this first semester of graduate school.
