Richard Avedon
During the Thanksgiving holiday I made my first trip to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. If you are in the Boston area for your holiday, I highly recommend visiting this museum if you have the time. Between browsing Egyptian artifacts and a wonderful collection of Impressionist works, I was pleased to find that the museum is hosting an exhibition of Richard Avedon's fashion photography. The gallery featured a wide range of photographs of well known celebrities such as Elizabeth Taylor and Brigitte Bardot as well as models and socialites from years past. I really enjoyed seeing his work and how his style has become definitive of fashion photography.
