Check it out! He sticks his tongue out like I do when I'm working things out. He's making an anniversary gift for Jenn. Little coupons for her to redeem. He knew what he wanted to do, and I found him a template on-line.
He was impressed with the tools. Once I showed him how to use them, he ran with it. He wasn't afraid of all the pink either.I'm hoping Jenn cashes the coupons in all at once!
While he was busy working away at that, I did my Letter Love assignment. Writing for an hour kills my hand. I'm just not used to holding a pen. I am amazed that my lettering can look like something a blind folded chicken did, but then I can embellish it and it looks pretty darn good when I'm done.
In our 2nd bin from Urban Harvest, we got Corn Salad/Lamb's Lettuce. It's like spinach but doesn't have what Kerry calls "the dirt taste". I made a nice little salad with cherry tomatoes, feta, cukes, and olives. We also had rainbow chard, which I thought I had taken a photo of, but guess I didn't. I stir-fried it up in butter, and added a lot of garlic. It was so good. I really didn't expect it to be. It made enough for me and Shaun, it might have made more, but I ate it all and left a little for Shaun. He loved it too. We are really enjoying the different fruits and veggies that come in our bin.
