CAFFEINE CONTENT
Unknown, but probably somewhere around 100 mg.
EASE IN ACQUISITION—6
Most commonly found at smaller grocery chains; neither gas stations nor larger chains carry it with any appreciable frequency.
APPEARANCE/PRESENTATION—3
All boasts of efficacy and declarations of value, without bothering to add any legitimate appeal to the energy-consuming populace.
TASTE—4
Grape Triaminic. Next section!
KICK (INTENSITY)—6
Generally, when I consume an energy product, I do so because (brace yourselves) I need a caffeine kick for one reason or another. That said, I think 6 Hour Power—Grape has been the first energy product I’ve drank just to get it over with. I knew it wasn’t going to taste good, I knew it wasn’t going to kick all that much, so I figured I’d just drink it before going to the gym just to get it out of the way. As far as actual results, I can say it was a bit easier to get through my half hour on Jacob’s Ladder, but you know what? I can get that or more out of manyan energy product, and out of all those I can find ones that taste vastly better than this one.
KICK (DURATION)—6
Two and a half hours, no crash.
THE SHOT OVERALL—5.33
6 Hour Power—Grape is just another mediocre shot in a market already inundated by them. Pass it over.
