It's mid-semester break. And in the post-chocolate comedown from easter, I am feeling mighty lethargic. Study should be in abundance, but the past couple of days I have just felt like I 'just woke up' all day. Quite unimpressive.
Trying to decide whether it's worth if flying to Sydney to do the Dirt Works 100km on my Singlespeed. General consensus states that singlespeeding it should be okay, perhaps even enjoyable (once it's over and I am happily beer-in-hand). But is it worth the cash to fly to Sydney?
Originally, when entries opened I was dead keen, it was going to be the token point-to-point endurance race of the year, but when I missed out on an entry in the mad rush, I kinda got over it.
Now, offered a spot, I want to go...but Aido is perhaps less keen on the idea.
I was going to go to Anaconda MTB in Alice Springs, and I am not doing that now. AND Aido is leaving me for two weeks to do Tour De Cure. So I should be able to do ONE teeny, weeny race...
